I Can’t Believe It’s Not Decaying Flesh

December 4, 2005

Spray some I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter on these delicious baked goods and have at it. This dude was in the news a few months back, but I only came across these pictures recently and thought they were neato. The latest issue of Maxim had a two page close up of these bread-head things, and they looked like something out of a movie.

Made by a baker in Thailand. They’re supposedly edible, although I read that he uses mold to get some of the red/blue coloring. The artist says he’s making a statement against eating unhealthy food, but it sounds to me like he was just searching for a reason to make moldy treats resembling cadavers. Hey dude, whatever works.

  1. I saw this in FHM. It’s pretty awesome looking.

I’ve always been disappointed by the fact that FHM, Stuff, and Maxim all write the same shit in their magazines. They’ve got to all be owned by the same people. At one point, I had a Stuff subscription, and they started sending me FHM too (don’t know why). So I would often get them both on the same day, and they’d have one or two identical articles. Well, not word for word, but the same subject. I just thought it was shitty they are pretending to not all work together.

  2. Drew Says:

I signed up for some deal to get a few of them for free and that’s pretty much how it goes. They’re basically 80% ads, 10% interviews with models (who’s shitty idea was that? all I care about is what’s under their skimpy lingerie) and then the other 10% are actual articles.

If I can figure out how to cancel the subscriptions I’ll probably just stick with stuff or fhm

  3. Matt Says:

Stuff and Maxim aren’t made by the same company. I’m almost positive of that.

They’re fun to read sometimes, its mindless reading, but sometimes that is good.
